A: If you plan to be a contributing member of Molodezh.com, then we kindly ask you to register. There is not a requirement to register, however there are many benefits that you have when you become a registered member of Molodezh.com

FORUM: Registration allows you to post threads into the forum using a fixed user name. You then accumulate statistical data on how you post. Visitors can see that you are a frequent contributing member of Molodezh.com by viewing the number of posts that you have made, and then are able to search for other posts by your name. You are also given a privilege of sending private messages to other users without revealing your email address. Registered users can choose an avatar to represent them on all the posts. Once you are registered, you can post and vote in polls.

GALLERY: Registered users can have a small private gallery to which they can upload their own pictures that can later be easily used in posts or other locations on the web. You can also add comments to photos and given the right to vote.

Q: How do I change my password?

A: After you login on the front page of Molodezh.com, return to the same area and click on the Изменить профайл link above your login name.

Q: How do I change my username?

A: Please email webmaster@molodezh.com with your request. Do not create a new profile with the same email address. You must remove your old profile to be able to use the same email address.

A: The forum allows you use some HTML code in you posts. You can choose to use the BBCode, which is a simplified version of HTML. Find out how to use BBCode here. All pictures that are online have a certain Internet path. If you find a picture, that is suitable to use in your post, then get the address of the picture by right-clicking on the picture and choosing properties. In the properties window you can find the Location path of the picture. Copy that path right into your post on Molodezh.com. You can upload your own pictures and photos to your private album in the Photo Gallery section and use those photos in the same manner. For more information on creating a personal Album click here. The forum post section allows users to click the Img BBCode button to add tags to the actual link that was posted. Highlight the location of the picture in your post and click the Img button on top. This adds the [IMG] and [/IMG] tags around your picture location text. Click the Preview button to view the outcome of your post.

HTML tags give you more flexibility. Here is an HTML introductory website that will be of some help.

Another example: The code below will format the picture and text as seen below.

The code has been modified to be aligned with the text. This makes the image presentation look more professional. The align="justify" allows the text to be full on both edges as a block format. The align="left" modifier places the image at the left. Other options are: middle, and right.

NOTE: THE IMAGE(S) USED IN A SINGLE ROW CANNOT EXCEED A WIDTH DIMENSION OF 450 PIXELS. Images greater in size will distort the whole forum page and make it asymetrical.

Q: How do I format the picture and/or text?

A: The basics of adjusting photo/picture size were outlined in the previous question. For simple text manipulation it is possible to use BBCode. Our forum allows you to use certain tags of the HTML code. These are the tags: p, b, i, u, pre, img. If you are interested in using additional tags, then please email the webmaster. Tags have been limited because of the inherent power to wreck havoc on the website. Visit W3Schools to learn the basics of HTML.

Q: How do I add/change Avatar?

A: Avatars are little pictures that are displayed on the side of your post. Login into Molodezh.com and go to the Forum page. Right above the forum you will find a Profile link. At the bottom of the Profile page you can upload your Avatar or click on the link to display all available ones. Please note the restriction in size and dimention when uploading your Avatar to Molodezh.com.

Q: How do I quote someone?

A: Another great reason to register with Molodezh.com is the fact that when you login you can go directly to the post that interests you and click the Quote button of that particular post. You will automatically be responding to that post with the appropriate quote box.

Q: How do I send a private message?

A: Private messaging allows you to send email to others without revealing your true email address. Login to Molodezh.com and go to the Forum page. One of the links above the categories is one indicating the number of mesages that you currently have. You can go through this link and find the person you want to message. Another method is by clicking the pm button bellow the post of a registered user. Private messages are not seen by normal users.

Molodezh.com Forum offers its own FAQ page. Please note that anything dealing with passwords and usernames does not pertain to Molodezh.com, since Molodezh.com has its own central authentication method. Please do not change your password using the Forum interface.

A: When you, as a registered user on Molodezh.com, enter the Photo Gallery page, you are presented with three buttons above all the Albums. These albums are limited in size, but can be increased at the request.

Create/order my albums button: Allows you to create your own little photo albums. The arrows allow you to possition the album in order above or below other albums.

Modify my albums button: Allows you to change some of the characteristics of the album. The most critical option is under permissions. The album can be locked to be viewed only by you, registered users, or anyone else.

My profile button: Allows you to change some data about you which is displayed in the private photo page.

The photos in your albums can later be used to post right in the forum using the photo's internet location.

A: Please email the webmaster before proceeding to follow these instructions. You have to be given proper clearance in order to have access to this category.

1. To access this section please click on Для Персонала on the front page (below the login).
2. Login with your usual username and password and click on the Audio section.

The basic concept is you drill down to the category to which you want to add some audio. Since you don't know what audio there is, just select any category, and click the Add Audio button for that subcategory. You will see a list of all the files. Most of the files are the old radio programs "Mir Vam". There are some from the previous Conference. You can click play and listen to the file to figure out what it is. Don't add the file now, unless you know where you are adding the file to.

3. Choose the category/sub category to which you want to add the file to.

4. Choose the file by clicking Add to Database. If you are not sure what the file is, please click play FIRST.
NOTE: if you choose Add to Database then decide otherwise.. it will be too late, the file will be lost. Please don't do that. Continue to add the file and info which can be always changed later .

5. Select the checkbox beside the category and file that you wish to be displayed on the site. Click Submit.

5. Please view the website in a different window and see how the files are actually labeled. Please keep the labeling consistent. Label the audio file in the best possible way.

A: Wordpress is a powerful tool that allows you to publish RSS Feeds to the internet. Most of our articles are created in Wordpress. To become a contributor, please register separately on the Weblog page. You will be given a oppurtunity to contribute your own articles and blogs to Molodezh.com. Your writing will be reviewed and posted on Molodezh.com. When you become more proficient and trusted, you will be promoted to a higher level, where you can post directly without anyone's review.
